The Wrong Way To Be Inspired By Other People's Content

More than once, I’ve seen instances where these social media famous Internet Business Mentors were caught copying other people’s content.

And if you hung around the Internet marketing community for a good amount of time, then you’ve probably heard of these business mentors whose names I will not mention.

There have been two cases that I recently heard about this issue:

The first case takes place on YouTube and a lot of people don’t realize there’s a huge plagiarism pandemic going on in that space. People have made videos showing their viewers that these Internet Business Mentors created their content by taking other people’s content, rewording the script just a tiny bit, then publishing it as if it’s theirs.

They didn’t even bother changing the video titles. It’s copy-and-pasted directly from the video that they were “inspired” by. To be fair though, they probably did that for SEO purposes.

But it doesn’t stop there.

There have been plagiarism cases on Facebook too, specifically with Facebook ads. People have taken the ad copy from these business mentors and used it for their own ads. And then someone else copies the ad of the person who copied their ad from the original ad.

Originality: 10/10

The second case has to do with an Internet Business Mentor who started a high ticket upsell program, but he copied the sales page from another business coach’s program’s sales page.

What’s worse is that this particular business mentor’s right-hand man basically confessed that he used black hat strategies.

What a world we live in.

The good news is, when you use the email copywriting principles that I teach in How to Become an Email Titan, you don’t need to steal other people’s content, nor do you need to resort to other black hat strategies.

The catch?

You need to know how to think.

Anyways, here’s the link to the sample chapters.
